The temperature was perfect and the rain held off as 18,000 participants came out to run the Seattle Marathon/Half Marathon! After an unorganized start, the streets of downtown and I-90 were packed with foot traffic.
The Seattle Marathon/Half Marathon is known for its consistent up hill climbs: up 5th ave, up I-90, up Galer/Madison, up Interlaken, up, up, up! This run requires full and thorough training. Congratulations to every one who participated!
