Jingle Bell Dash 2008

How can the weather turn from tropical one weekend to arctic the next?  Well, only in the northwest!  Seattle brought snow before the Jingle Bell Run this year, which seemed to keep some people from turning out.

But that did not stop Kirsten Nesholm from running and representing her local fitness studio EXCELLENCE FITNESS.   First she arrived at EXCELLENCE FITNESS and did her pre-race warm-ups, which includes: Over/Unders with the hurdle, Lunges with Lateral torso rotation, Lateral Lunges (as seen in picture), high kicks, gluteal kicks, inch worms, and  the “World’s Greatest stretch” just to name a few. Despite a few icy patchs, she crossed the finish line in 22:36.
