A combination of essential fatty acids and antioxidants are useful for treating tendonitis. A study performed on Denmark’s National Rowing Team found that a nutritional supplement containing vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E (antioxidants), essential fatty acids, selenium and zinc provided improvement for joint inflammation. Most cases responded within three weeks. More serious cases took a bit longer.
